It was at one of these meals that the idea for Lola&Co arose. Offer our neighbors, friends and visitors of Tetbury a Spanish, Mediterranean, English product of the highest quality and that with the flavors they could discover a piece of the Majorcan beach, or the Costa Brava, or the Spain of Cervantes and the mills, all with an old Georgian and Victorian atmosphere reflecting the old rural England of Tolkien and Chesterton that many have now forgotten.
From an early age, my husband and I have dreamed of being able to unite the concept of the arts and aesthetics. In a world where there is more and more division between these two, we decided to unite these two concepts in one space; Lola&Co, with something fundamental, food.
It is those meals, those dinners that we live in the moment, we see our children grow, we meet with our friends and we learn from our parents. Food can bring people together in a way nothing else could, and this is the purpose of La Lola & Co.
