Sunday 24 October – The Black Pit

Live Play Reading – Performed by members of Tetbury U3A

Tetbury Goods Shed Arts Centre – 5:00 pm

During lockdown over the past year the U3A Play Reading group could not meet to read plays so they decided to write some instead!

Now they will be presenting one of them “The Black Pit” which is, suitably in these times, all about the Black Death in an unnamed Gloucestershire village.

All tickets to be pre-booked via www.shed-arts.co.uk or by calling into Tetbury Visitor Information Centre.

Tickets:  £6.00 each plus booking fee to include a cup of tea and biscuits. Pre-booked seats only (no tickets on the door).

Saturday 30 October – Keith Thompson and Friends

Tetbury Goods Shed Arts Centre – 8:30 pm

British Blues Rock musician Keith Thompson, solo and with his band have been performing in mainland Europe now for over 25 years, where he is well known to the large blues following as an exciting live performer. Last year Keith completed his 12th Blues/Rock album, “Transcendence”.

Keith has worked alongside many great musicians including, Buddy Whittington (John Mayall etc.), Laurence Jones UK., Steve Winwood, Ruby Turner, Larry Burton, Dave Markee and Henry Spinetti (Eric Clapton Band and Tina Turner) Greg Ridley of Humble Pie, The Groundhogs, Robbie Blunt (Robert Plant), Luther Grosvenor of Mott The Hoople, Gino Washington, Spooky Tooth, Mike D’Abo and many others.
