Delightful  music in the Shed –  every week is  something different. Admission is just £2.50

Tetbury Goods Shed – Ceilidh with the Bursledon Village Band – Saturday 7 September

7:30 pm – 11:00 pm

Specialising mainly in southern English tunes, the Bursledon Village Band have been one of the U.K.’s favourite barn dance or ceilidh bands since 1977 and we are delighted to welcome them to the Shed

The best of Britain’s countryside on show in two display rings and across 30 acres of beautiful parkland at Frampton Court.

Tetbury Goods Shed – Alan Brinley-Shaw Classical Guitar -Saturday 14 September

Don´t miss out on an evening of a stunning classical guitar playing. Alan Brinley-Shaw will delight you with music from Spain, Tangos from Argentina and mesmerizing music from Turkey as well as guitar classics from Villa-Lobos, Tarraga to Piazzolla.

Tetbury Goods Shed – Talk – The Feoffees of Tetbury – 15 September 

2:00 pm – 3:30 pm

Join Dr Tony Walsh as he guides you through the history of Tetbury and how the Feoffees came to be, what they represent and how they care for in the town

There will be no charge to attend this talk by Dr Walsh but there will be a retiring collection on behalf of local charities.


U3A – How to Take Wild Life Photographs – 18th September

10:00 am 10:30 am Start

Sandie Cox ARPS, DPAGB, the well known wild life photographer will give a presentation of her work. This must see event will be for just members only at the Goods Shed. The admission is free so don’t forget to bring your membership card.

Membership forms are available from Tetbury Visitor Information Centre between 10:00am and 4:00 pm.

 


Malmesbury Abbey Music Society – Recital by John Hughes – 20th September

3:00 pm

Our next organ recital will be given by John Hughes, the organist at Malmesbury Abbey and Chairman of MAMS. Details of his programme will be announced as soon as they are available and will include “Music for the Royal Fireworks”.

John has been in the post since the present organ was installed and knows all its strengths and quirks. He will play music that shows it in its best light.

The Cafe will be open, so come and hear the Malmesbury Abbey organ in all its glory while enjoying tea and cakes.
